Did you ever do that experiment in a science class where you put drops of water from a dropper onto the face of a penny? It's incredible. You think you can get 10 maybe 15 drops and instead it's like 30 or 40.
It's called cohesion. Basically the hydrogen in water molecules bonds with each other, causing them to "stick together" easily.
Basically, water sticks with water.
...but...
The beauty of the water sticking is not that lots of it can stay on the face of a penny, but that the water molecules are STRONG enough to.
The more water molecules, the more bonds; the more bonds, the stronger the water.
This causes water to have a strength of approximately 2 pascals.
This means that water is strong enough to travel from the ground up, through a trees roots and into the branches and leaves of the tree (again, you know my affinity for trees).
The same seems to be true of us.
YHWH never intended for us to live this life alone.
There is strength in numbers.
This is not the same as my pine tree En-tree about trees growing together.
What I mean here is that sticking together, we're stronger... and that is possible, because we have been made to stick together.
If we stick together, we can cover a lot of ground, with strength.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
I can't say it any better than YHWH said it.
