Getting back into things...
So, I haven't blogged in a while.
I want to do more blogs like I am known for doing (En-Trees, Aqua Entry, Sparky Entry, etc.) and I will...
But, to get back into the blog thing... I am going to do a brief series of "Bo's Top 10s"
Bo's Top 10 Concert Moments
10. Eating a hotdog with George Yance and Glenn Payne. These two men (now deceased) were the founding members of "The Cathedrals." Hall of Famers. Amazing men. Ate a hotdog at a picnic with them in NC. George Yance tapped my leg and said, "Look how ugly that old man is!" speaking of Glenn Payne. I was around 7 years old.
9. Going to see some bands at a place called "the Refuge." It was this rundown skating rink that had been converted into a place to see concerts (stage, couches for sitting). We were going to see this metal band we had heard about. There was an acoustic band that opened for them from Georgia. Neither band had a CD. That night Third Day opened for Skillet.
8. Hanging out backstage with MotionCitySoundtrack. In Charlotte at the Warped Tour.
7. Lights, Lydia, LoveDrug, Copeland. In Columbia with AB.
6. The Spill Canvas, Melee, Daphne Loves Derby, Copeland. At the Masquerade in Atlanta.
5. Copeland, Relient K. In Charlotte.
4. Ben Harper singing "With My Own Two Hands" into "War." At the Fox Theater in Athens.
3. John Mayer using a girl's digital camera as a slide to play a 5 minute solo. In Charlotte. Also, the first time AB held my hand in public. She initiated it.
2. Meeting Claudio from Coheed & Cambria. At their tent, about an hour before they went on stage. Then watched them perform for 45 minutes. At the Warped Tour in Charlotte.
