I love to swim.
One of my favorite things is to jump, full force into a giant body of water.
I am not a "toe tester," "ease into-er," or "foot dangler;" If I am going to get in the water... I'm gettin' in the water!
I really don't have a preference of pools, lakes, ponds, ocean, etc. I just like to swim.
When I'm in the water I can spin around, flip spontaneously, dive down, shoot up, float, sink, blow bubbles, splash around, etc.
NASA does training in giant pools to simulate the weightlessness of space.
Outside of water... I don't take a lot of risks. I never flip.
Being at the center of what YHWH is doing is kind of like water. When you are submerged in His love, seeking His will... you don't worry about how foolish you look, or what your "abilities" are.
Sadly, we live so much of our lives as "fish out of water."
We play it safe.
A teaspoon of water can drown a grown man.
Water liberates and frees us... but it can also kill us.
Following Christ should never feel easy or safe.
...but...
In Him, we are free... free to flip.

New Series!!!
Who are you people that read this thing?! Last time I looked, there was like 1027, now it's over 1100! That's crazy. I love you, each and everyone. If you are reading this, I am a fan of you.
So, for a new series... water.
Did you know that water is a big deal?
It's true. A really big deal. Maybe bigger than we realize.
The next, however many blogs are gonna be about water.
For those who are wondering about the fire thing... I don't know what happened either. Not sure. Just lost my creative spark... wow... bad joke...
For me, water has always been something I love. I love swimming... a lot. When I was a kid, Dad took me to the Clover community pool and taught me how to swim, age 3. We got an above ground pool when I was little. We swam as much as possible. Jessica and I swam once in the water when it was 54 degrees (the water, that is). I was a lifeguard three summers at Awanita. I have been known to take 3 showers in a day. I love to jump in puddles. Recently I have found that I would rather wash dishes by hand, than in my electric dish washer. Sometimes, I will just stand in the shower and watch the water fall around me. I love thunderstorms... really any storm, just so long as rain is involved.
Check back here soon, because I will soon start my new series: WATER!

Something new...
I need inspiration.
I need a new topic.
I need to write my blog more often.
I need you to tell me what to write about.
I need something interesting.
I need to stop saying "I need" at the beginning of every sentence.
I need to do a better job at the last statement.
I need... wait...
